Bands I find extremely talented that are getting some good tours and promotions going.

o1. The Hush Sound
o2. Punchline
o3. Rock & Roll Soldiers
o4. Ludo _(they aren't new but we have been discussing their growing group of fans across the country with good reason)
o5. The Unethical Developement of Hopeless Romanticism
o6. Achille's Downfall
o7. Silent Film
o8. Speaking of Dick _(they really aren't doing any touring but they are around our campus and they are rather talented)
o9. Go Betty Go

Us kids here at Antiscene_Co are considering creating a zine old style punk rock xerox themed focusing on music, politics, culture, body mods, and art.

So...I'm thinking of all the new music shit out which ones will be more than a fad.

*I'm 50/50 on the Academy Is
*I'm leaning more positively towards Gatsby's American Dream
*I think Andrew McMahon's side project Jacks Mannequin will defeat the Something Corporate popularity...i like the side project better personally.
*the Starting Line is walking a thin line...they need to work on their live preformance.
*I expect nothing but good things from Go Betty Go...i can't wait for the album

More to come later.

Don't you wonder how much longer fad music or bands...such as Fallout Boy and Straylight Run will actually last. It just seems like every emo/screamo/new punk band has the EXACT same sound and attempt at artsy provoking lyrics.

Sad really...that kids will pay so much money to attend a Fallout Boy preformance and then end up singing more of the songs then the actual band members...how lame. I don't think I've ever heard more disappointed kids at a Warped Tour than the ones this year leaving the FOB preformance...early in fact. Maybe this trend will be dying more quickly?
